As a new book is coming out about 9/11 “From Landfill to Hallowed Ground” by retired NYPD Lt. Frank Marra, stories from workers at the landfill/rubble site that the remains of the 9/11 site rest.  Upon interviewing fellow officers and first responders the story came to light of an African-American woman in a white Red Cross Outfit from around World War II serving coffee and/or sandwiches comes up.  She was seen by many, and just an story to others.  Reports of strange “large black masses” and shadows have been seen as well at the rubble site.  In the article from NY POST it is said: “A psychic medium has since explained to him he might have seen a spirit called a “soul collector” — guiding people to the afterlife, Marra said.”

Now I’m not sure about all that, but the Red Cross has a long history of helping those in need and sacrificing personal time for others by many dedicated people over the years. So, why in the afterlife would some of these people stop helping, when so many put their lives on hold to help others get theirs moving forward? Was she real or not may not even be the question, the question is what “she” means.  Helping others at their lowest is what good human nature is. It’s what we should all strive for, helping each other…. And maybe this woman showed that a Red Cross worker’s work never ends, not even in the afterlife…
